It's the gift giving time of year! I love giving the perfect gift and its especially hard when people say "I don't know, I don't really want anything." I'm guilty of it! But not this year because I came up with our family wish list. Below there are lists for: His (Luke), Hers (Mine) & Ours (Landon). I actually already bought a few things on the Her list for other people, hopefully they like it as much as I do!

We were lucky enough to already receive and give our first Christmas gifts of the year. My family does a white elephant style gift exchange. The short version: Bring a gift, Draw a number, open gifts starting with who drew #1, when all gifts are opened- steal gifts on way back down to #1. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit.  

I gave this Advent Calendar along with 12 prepared activities and bible verses and am so jealous of my sister who gets to use it every year! But I quickly got over it when I got THIS. I got a popcorn maker last year so I say if I get a nacho cheese dispenser next year I'm taking the hint and opening a concession stand. Last year my husband ended up with a purse, this year he drew #1 which means he got the last pick and nobody could steal. Also this year he brought the purse back with three of these face masks inside. It got dubbed the 'curse of the purse' and will now be a tradition to bring it back every year.  

This weekend is the biggest shopping weekend of the year - last year I tried to hang with my in-laws and Black Friday shop but I was struggling with morning sickness and ended up throwing up in the store bathroom and calling my husband to come get me after just an hour. I need to redeem myself.
