Day in the Life with Oils

I often get asked if I still use essential oils and the answer is 1000X yes! I use multiple oils every single day. I won’t go over every single oil because there are a ton but I wanted to share the 5 oils that I use all the time.

In the morning while getting ready I roll progessence plus on my wrist and rub them together. I then rub 2 drops of Joy over my heart. Sometimes I’ll had a little more on my neck and use it as a perfume. Progessence is used to help balance hormones, something I started using shortly after Ry was born and I’ve never looked back. Joy is named perfectly and a very uplifting oil. It  has a strong floral scent that reminds me of my Gram. *Disclosure: you cannot take progessence plus if you are on birth control.

While I am getting the boys ready I roll thieves directly onto their spine and then roll some behind my own ears and at the base of my neck. I use a lot of other thieves products (cleaning solution, toothpaste, etc) that I will get into at a later day.  Thieves is so good for boosting the immune system which is something you need to constantly be doing when you work in a corporate office and your kids go to daycare/school… germs are everywhere! Thieves has a rich spicy scent.

At work I use a mini diffuser that my mom gave me, she got it here. It comes with a USB plug so I hook it right into my computer and have it diffusing almost all day right on my desk next to me. What I diffuse does very depending on my mood, if I feel like I might be coming down with something or if I need extra focus. But more than anything I diffuse stress away. It is my all-time favorite YL blend. It honestly smells like the beach to me.

At bedtime I will put on lavender (and cedarwood but I said I would keep it to top 5 so this is just a bonus, cedarwood pairs so well with lavender, creating a sweet sleep inducing scent). Lavender was my gate-way oil because of how versatile it is. It creates the loveliest relaxing scent and mixes well with so many other oils depending on what mood you are going for. It’s also great to use on cuts, sunburn, bug bites, etc.

So that’s my condensed daily line-up. I use a lot more than just these 5 but these are my staples, the bread and butter of my essential oils routine. If you ever have questions about a specific oil don’t hesitate to ask! As always you can visit my page here to become a member or place an order.

xoxo.
