Vintage + Pink Wedding

Luke and my second wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of the month so I thought it would be a good time to finally share our wedding photos on here. Two years is nothing in reality but so much has changed since that chilly July day. Yes chilly, you can't tell from most of the photos but it was like 50-60 degrees and raining.

We planned our wedding in less than 6 months but it couldn't have turned out more perfectly. The short time frame helped with the decision making process. No second guessing, just make a decision and move on to the next.

On the morning of our wedding I gave my mom and MIL these handkerchiefs. But Luke gave me the best gift of all which is a completely other story that I'll have to share. The guys spent the morning golfing and the girls got all prettied up.

We had it at a golf course but I wanted to keep the feel of it warm and eclectic. We went with pink and burlap as the main colors, if burlap is a color?  The decor had a vintage feel and was mostly thrifted, like all the lovely glass vases in the center pieces.

None of the flowers came from a florist. Most came from a family friend and some from a farmers market stand. My bridal party assembled the bouquets the morning of the wedding.

Guests signed matting that was around our engagement photos for our guest book. Those photos are now in our bedroom, still without actual frames. They also filled out address cards that I had ordered off Etsy

At the head table we kept empty flower vases so that we could put the bridal party bouquets in after the ceremony. Double duty decor. The rest of the tables were decorated with burlap, a frame, fresh flowers, candles, keys, family doilies and mini photos.

Also at the reception we had a special kids table with coloring books and candy. We also had a separate candy table so the adults didn't feel left out with the sweets. On the porch we had a photo booth for guests to use and oh did some use it!

For favors we gave out mini jars of homemade strawberry jam that my mom made. We stamped craft paper and cut out a piece of fabric to attach on the tops to make them all pretty.

Luke's aunt also recorded and made us a wedding video of our special day. I'm going to have Landon watch it on our anniversary. We'll see if he notices mama and daddy on TV.

Enjoy all the photos!

I love you hunny.

xoxo.
