It doesn't get much better than meals at the picnic table. Easy clean-up, fresh air, straight off the grill food, and my favorite people.

 We have been eating outside at our picnic table (or my parents) several times a week for the last month. My 24th birthday is tomorrow so today we had the perfect birthday lunch at the picnic table.

Luke was on grill duty while I made drinks and set the table. We both took turns chasing Landon around the yard until it was time to eat. 

Chicken & veggies kabobs, watermelon, homemade pink lemonade, and cheese cake. Yes I had a little cake before my lunch :) And Landon ate more watermelon than anything else but it was a special meal so oh well. We also put our NUK tri-section bowl and soft bite spoon to the test.

The soft bite spoon is still a little hard for him to hold and coordinate. He has only gotten food on it and to his mouth a couple times. But they are perfectly shaped for little hands. He loves to chew on the soft part and they are the few spoons we have tried where I feel like they won't hurt his gums. They come in lots of fun colors in packs of 6. I think as he gets bigger and continues to use them they will be perfect for eating!
