My First Mothers Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day! My heart is with everyone who was hurting yesterday. Whether it be from losing a mother, struggling with conceiving or having a baby in heaven, prayers for strength and happiness to you all.

Last year I was very pregnant and so excited to become a Mama. This year I am one and I thank God everyday for blessing me with this silly little boy.

I had the best first Mothers Day. I let my husband take the lead and although we definitely view holidays differently - I'm all about the decorating, picture taking, and surprises and he's laid back and care-free. He gave me exactly what I needed.

A simple day - visiting family, loving on my baby boy, and some one-on-one time with each other. I need someone to tell me to slow down, enjoy the moment, and relax once in awhile - thanks hunny.

This week I'm on a work trip for a few days and its my first night(x2) away from my baby. Coming home will be a whole new kind of wonderful and I can't wait. Being at home with my boys always wins.

XOXO
