I cannot believe I'm already in the home stretch - the days are long but the weeks fly by. All the mommy-to-be books suggest having your hospital bags packed by 36 weeks - just in case. I don't think I'll wont go early but there is something calming about knowing your ready - so bags are officially packed! I'm a first time mama so I'll probably over pack, not use half the stuff I bring & forget at least one majorly important thing.

I have three bags packed & a list of last minute items to throw in the labor & delivery bag right before we leave. The Labor & Delivery bag will come with us into the hospital right away. I'll send the new daddy to get the Post Delivery Bag and Baby Bag from the car after we get switched to our recovery room.
