For week number two of my spring get organized challenge, I tackled my car. 

If you are like me, your car slowly but surely gets cluttered and dirty over winter. It's cold out! Nobody wants to stand outside in -20 degree weather vacuuming out old french fries. By the end of every winter I always think "I'll do better next year." But here I am again cleaning out 3 months worth of stuff. 

The key to organizing a car, is to first clean the car. Essentially I started inside and worked my way out. I got all the mechanical "stuff" done first . I got new wiper blades, washer fluid refilled, oil changed, tires rotated and rear brakes fixed (a huge thank you to my brother-in-law Wade with the brakes). Bonus I got a free car wash with my oil change. 

 I then moved onto cleaning the interior- the trunk, backseat & front seat: scrubbing the carpets, vacuuming the seats & floor, wiping the dash, windex-ing the interior glass, restocking the center console, organizing the glove box, and replacing the air freshener. I then added some organizing solutions which I'll detail below and lastly I got my free car wash. One more area of my life organized.
