Second Trimester Must Haves

Camera\\ Chapstick\\ Humidifier\\ Maternity Clothes
Tums\\ Panties\\ Body Pillow \\Bra

The second trimester is considered the easiest trimester. Typically morning sickness is gone, energy is back, you aren't orca yet... some women say the don't even feel pregnant. While it was definitely easier than the first (First Trimester Must Haves found here), I wouldn't say I didn't feel pregnant. Unfortunately I still have morning sickness on and off. My energy returned though and that was amazing! I also was in the cute bump stage which was so much fun to dress.

I did have to accommodate for some of pregnancy symptoms.

Camera- Capture that cute bump! I've been taking weekly photos and I already love looking back at the transformation so far.

Chapstick- My lips were constantly dry. I'm sure being in the middle of winter didn't help but they were worse than usual.

Humidifierr- Nobody mentions the pregnancy nose! When you get pregnant everything starts to swell - most people mention the feet - well it turns out your nose does too. This causes a stuffy nose and impossibly loud snoring (sorry hun). A humidifier makes it so much easier to breath!

Clothes- I think I finally gave up on my regular jeans at 19 weeks. It got to the point that when I put them on Luke would say "Oh jeez, those jeans? I get to listen to how uncomfortable you are all day" - thanks babe. 90% (maybe more) of my maternity wardrobe was lent to me by my sisters. The new clothes I did buy pretty much all came from Old Navy. They fit fantastic, have affordable prices and are always getting new items. A few other favorite places are ASOS & HM. They both have really cute dresses for some of those special occasions like maternity photos and baby showers.

Tums- One word- heartburn. (Baby better come out with a beard)

Intimates- I felt more comfortable buying a bra in the second trimester than the first. I knew I would still get bigger but I was closer to that final size. Trying to fit into your pre-pregnancy bra size is a joke. Also the booty... bring on the granny panties - not really but forget sexy underwear. Full butt/ full coverage is just way more comfortable - your already knocked up - who are you trying to impress anyways?

Body Pillow- Your body is just different. I couldn't sleep in the positions I use to and be cozy. I literally consider stapling a pillow between my knees. Just get a body pillow - so much easier than 20 separate pillows falling off the bed and out of position all night long.

As always let me know if you would add anything. I know every pregnancy journey is different and for me these where my must haves to make life just a little bit more enjoyable.
